Climb Greece was created along with the new Greece Sport Climbing guidebook to provide Greece climbing updates and news. Through Climb Greece and Climb Kalymnos, our vision is to inform, inspire, and make Greece an even better climbing destination.

Hello, everybody!

We are going to visit Peloponnese in the nearest time.
We are beginners in climbing, so we are searching for nice and simple-route sectors.
We would like visit a Vlychada or Playground, but I have a question about this places:

– Is it possible to easily install point on the top of this crags to climb with top rope?
In other words, is it possible to get the top of the these crags firstly by foot from other side.

– May I rent the rope somewhere in this region? If yes, may somebody share any link or contact?…
(we will have most of gear, but it would be great to have possibility not to bring 60 m rope on a flight just for a 1-2 days))

You have a pm! Actually is not easy to access by foot to top of the routes at Vlychada or Playground.

Aris, Thank you a lot for reply!
We are considering lead climbing on this walls to install base for top rope.
Good that there is 5c and lower grade routes, so believe we may do it)
